Just to get it out of the way, I’m going to start by saying that NO album could ever live up to the expectations or justify the 14 years of waiting since the Spaghetti Incident’s release or the 13+ million dollars that were spent in the course of making this album.
I witnessed greatness in what I have to say was the best show of my life at the TD BANKNORTH GARDEN in BOSTON, MA. Seventeen years was far too long to wait to see the one and only GEORGE MICHAEL.The man is magical and I didn’t think that he could ever surpass his recordings live and he did.
I got the honor of photographing ALICIA KEYS in Boston, MA at The TD BANKNORTH GARDEN and I have to tell you she is one amazing woman. Not only did she radiate self confidence but she had the voice to back it up.

AEROSMITH is the band that makes me proud to be from New England. They are the official rock legends of the area. They started before I was born and I’m sure they will outlive me. STEVEN TYLER has magical DNA that is full of awe inspiring talent and tantalizing good looks. You’ve heard of “The face that launched a thousand ships,” well STEVEN TYLER is the face that launched a thousand scarves. He knows exactly how to work his voice, body and harmonica to get the appropriate response out of the audience. The members of AEROSMITH come together so precisely and dictate exactly what a rock band should be. Their music is all rock infused with just the right amount of blues and a special sound that can only be defined as AEROSMITH.
NO DOUBT was exactly what I expected and more. I am glad they are back and stronger than ever. GWEN STEFANI is such a remarkable performer with her stunning good looks and stage persona. Her energy and partnership with her band mates is just unmatched. How she manages to keep up her vocals and move around that much leads me to believe that she is super human. Other artists that refuse to sing live when they dance should take note and catch a NO DOUBT show. There is no lip synching only the force of the very bold and seasoned GWEN STEFANI.

If you have not seen an episode of FRINGE now is the time to do so. I have been hooked since the pilot. FRINGE is the witty sci-fi, drama, comedy, that you have been waiting for. You can always count on DR. WALTER BISHOP (JOHN NOBLE) to offer up his own unique brand of comic relief.
ALKALINE TRIO headlined the Worcester Palladium in support of their most recent album, AGONY & IRONY which came out last year. The opening acts were NIGHTMARE OF YOU and SAVES THE DAY. The crowd adored SAVES THE DAY and that is when the crowd surfing began.
The All-American Rejects
The best show in Rhode Island this month came to us courtesy of THE ALL-AMERICAN REJECTS, SHINY TOY GUNS, ACE ENDERS and VEDERA. SHINY TOY GUNS went on right before THE ALL-AMERICAN REJECTS and performed a whole set of dance hits with an intriguing stage show.
Metallica Live
METALLICA opened the night with an impressive coffin laser light show and kept the high energy pace all night long. ROBERT TRUJILLO was so full of energy he made me sweat. He has to be one of the most energetic bass players ever.
Mudvayne Live
MUDVAYNE stole the show with their unique musical concoction. CHAD GREY opened the show as an anthropomorphic's dream date. The astonishing musicianship continued throughout the entire show and I will admit that the bass player, RYAN MARTINIE, was my favorite.
