TERRIERS FX PRESS RELEASE: Terriers from Creator/Executive Producer Ted Griffin (Ocean’s Eleven, Matchstick Men) and Executive Producer Shawn Ryan (The Shield), is a comedic drama starring Donal Logue (The Tao of Steve) and Michael Raymond-James (True Blood). It centers on “Hank Dolworth” (Logue), an ex-cop, who partners with his best friend “Britt Pollack” (Raymond-James) in an unlicensed private investigation business. Comedic, edgy, original, a show about high stakes in the face of low expectations, Terriers explores what it’s like in today's America to be “too small to fail.” Co-stars include Laura Allen (Dirt) as “Katie,” Britt’s girlfriend; Rockmond Dunbar (Prison Break) as “Detective Mark Gustafson,” former colleague of Hank; and Jamie Denbo (Weeds) as “Maggie Lefferts,” Hank’s attorney. Craig Brewer (Hustle and Flow, The Shield) directed the pilot episode. Terriers is produced by Fox 21.

TERRIERS “Quid Pro Quo” Episode 12 Review, Airing 11/24/2010

The season finale of TERRIERS is next week so I hope you are all caught up. This week brings us “Quid Pro Quo” which is directed by one of my favorites, Adam Arkin. Hank, Britt and Laura dive into the Ocean Beach conspiracy and in turn it puts them and their loved ones in clear and present danger. “Quid Pro Quo” is written by Angela Kang and Leslye Headland.

I don’t know about you but I can’t believe that the first season of TERRIERS is almost over. It seems like I just met Hank (Donal Logue) and Britt (Michael Raymond-James). You already know how much I love the series and now after watching the first season finale, I am just counting the days until the second season arrives. It would be a shame if TERRIERS was not granted the right to celebrate and enjoy a numerous season run, so I am going the George Michael route and having “Faith” that it is revered enough to return to us.

Ben Zeitlin (Michael Gaston) and Burke (Daren Scott) return like the annoying drunk guys at a party that will not leave and insist on hugging you. Hank and Laura (Alison Elliot) are working together to figure out what Zeitlin is really up to and the good news is that Hank has pita bread in stock. Forget about vodka, everything is better with pita bread! Laura is setting up a meeting with her source to find out exactly what is going on and an unlikely person teams up with them to uncover the truth.

Britt is still behind bars and has to deal with midget wrestling and rashes while he waits for someone to bail him out. Looking back, perhaps Britt did not make the best decision by beating up Gavin (Zack Silva) but in a way I think Gavin had it coming because when he was with Katie at the club my date rapist radar was going off. That guy is a sleaze and perhaps Britt without even knowing it saved someone else from getting hurt. When Britt finally gets out of jail, he meets with Maggie (Jamine Denbo) and realizes that he is “totally douched”. He has to figure what he can do to stay out of prison.

They meet up with a councilman who has a “twice a day” plan for longevity. The councilman believes in a few things like freedom, independence and showering. He also wants to take down the “downtown dick weed” but things like proof are pretty important.

Hank becomes an unwelcomed guest but it is better to deal with Hank than the devil or is it? Working the Zeitlin case has dire consequences for all involved.

Britt doesn’t take too long to air his dirty laundry and put his game face back on but Hank questions how well he is doing. Some packages are just not intended for delivery!

Katie (Laura Allen) pays Gretchen (Kimberly Quinn) a visit to compare and contrast Hank and Britt.

“Quid Pro Quo” ends in a “wow” moment and if you thought things were already hairy just wait and see how shaggy it is going to get! Don’t miss TERRIERS on Wednesday nights at 10 PM EST only on FX!
