LAW & ORDER: CRIMINAL INTENT has been working up to this episode for some time now and if you are a true fan you will always remember where you were when Detective Robert Goren solved his last case. LAW & ORDER: CRIMINAL INTENT season nine premiered with the loss of a good friend, Captain Ross (ERIC BOGOSIAN). In part two of the premiere the Major Case Squad has to work through their emotions and move forward. We meet Detective Serena Stevens played by SAFFRON BURROWS (BOSTON LEGAL, TROY, FRIDA) she will be partnering with Detective Zach Nichols (JEFF GOLDBLUM). Detective Goren (VINCENT D’ONOFRIO) gets himself into a bit of a bind, to say the least. Nichols assures Stevens that, “it is fun here”. Goren works his way into a better position to work his case solving magic. Occasionally, criminals get a conscience. Nichols never misses an opportunity to wear a trench coat. Goren gets some new headwear and becomes a liability. Another body comes into play. Foul play is uncovered and people will pay with their lives. Nichols turns on the charm and gets the proper end result. GPS has more uses then just getting you to church on time. Painful dealings are in the works and are mandatory in the world of the Major Case Squad. This is the ending that will make you cry and if you don’t then you have had too much Botox, so you should check that out.
