IT’S ALWAYS SUNNY IN PHILADELPHIA FX OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE: FX's original comedy series It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia is back for a 6th season, and that can only mean more antics from everyone's favorite bar owners! Step into Paddy's Pub with Mac (Rob McElhenney), Dennis (Glenn Howerton), Charlie (Charlie Day), Dee (Kaitlin Olson), and Frank (Danny DeVito) – all friends working in harmony for a common cause: themselves. Last season saw the gang dabble in failed interventions, the poisoning of frat kids, footwear for kittens, dick towels, and an uncensored Christmas special with a gruesomely-violent claymation sequence. This year the stakes are higher, and so is the definition as we've made the switch to HD! Watch them tackle gay marriage, fight the class war, battle the high seas on a houseboat, bash rats, get repulsed by the McPoyles, deal with a very mysterious pregnancy and much more that you'll simply have to tune in to see. So come September check your conscience at the door and tell the kids to go play outside because it's about to get sunny in Philadelphia all over again. It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia was created by McElhenney and is executive produced by McElhenney, Day, Howerton, Michael Rotenberg, Nick Frenkel and Tom Lofaro. The show is produced by FX Productions.

“MAC’S BIG BREAK” IT’S ALWAYS SUNNY IN PHILADELPHIA Season 6 Fourth Episode Review, Airing 10/7/2010

This week on IT’S ALWAYS SUNNY IN PHILADELPHIA we get to witness MAC’S BIG BREAK. Mac stops cursing long enough to answer a trivia question on the radio without the assistance of “The Hulk”. Now Mac (Rob McElhenney) has to train and master the hockey stick because he isn’t a gymnast. Charlie (Charlie Day) is training him with the “tiny bowl of cream” method. Charlie and Mac are unaware of the rules of the ice but that doesn’t stop Mac from inventing the “coolest word”. The foundation of every famous hockey player is based on “a good hockey wig.” I don’t know about you but I don’t want to hang out with anyone who can train without ‘80’s montage music. Those are just a few of the rules that I live by. Mac is going to go down in “sports legend” history with his incredible hockey performance.

Dee (Kaitlin Olson) and Dennis (Glenn Howerton) host a podcast with some help from Frank (Danny DeVito). They take on the most pressing issues like homelessness, technology, stem cell research, war and more. Dennis has an awesome podcast voice. Frank likes to surprise Dee and Dennis with mystery guests. Cricket (David Hornsby) stops by and fills us in on his intimate fido moments and kidney issues. Don’t miss IT’S ALWAYS SUNNY IN PHILADELPHIA on Thursday nights at 10 PM EST on FX!
