FOX PRESS RELEASE:  "Nobody's Fault"
HOUSE’S PROCESS IS PUT ON TRIAL WHEN A CHEMICAL REACTION TRIGGERS AN EXPLOSIVE AND LIFE-THREATENING SITUATION ON AN ALL-NEW “HOUSE” MON FEB 6 8/7c.  House and the team are placed under review by Dr. Walter Cofield (guest star Jeffrey Wright), Foreman's former mentor, after a violent incident involving a patient has serious consequences for a team member. As House and each member of his team recount the details of the dramatic and life-threatening incident, they continue to examine their patient, a male chemistry teacher, in hopes of coming to a conclusive diagnosis. But in Cofield’s attempt to evaluate the team objectively and assign disciplinary action for the events that took place, it is necessary for him to weigh the team’s unconventional brand of collaboration against their ability to save lives in the all-new "Nobody's Fault" episode of HOUSE, airing Monday, Feb. 6 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

This week’s episode of House M.D. is intense and that is putting it mildly.  The episode opens with a bloody mess and we work our way backwards to find out the truth about what went on.  Every episode of every season has led up to this very moment, and some very difficult questions are asked.  House (Hugh Laurie) and his team are questioned by Dr. Walter Cofield (Jeffrey Wright), Foreman’s (Omar Epps) former mentor, about his unorthodox methods of dealing with patients and pretty much everything else. Disciplinary hearings are nothing new for Dr. House but the road that led him there has finally come into question.  Good thing he refilled his “vicamins” for this very occasion.  The best way that House can rationalize his unconventional method of dealing with cases is that, “good things usually happen, bad things sometimes happen.”  House has saved more lives than he has lost.  He has found hope where there was none in sight.  You can’t deny him of that.

A high school teacher falls ill and the team must work on finding out exactly what is wrong with him so they can save him.  House, Taub (Peter Jacobson), Park (Charlyne Yi), Adams (Odette Annable), and Chase (Jesse Spencer) have different ideas on what could be wrong with him and how they should go about getting a proper diagnosis.  That leads to the tables being turned on one member of the team, who is then put in a life-threatening situation.

This is a heavy episode.  A couple of pranks do add a little light-hearted, vividly colored fun to it but it is nothing like last week’s turtle racing good time.  I can say that someone gets an unintentional make over, courtesy of House.  We also get to see House in the light that he sees himself in.

This certainly isn’t the first time that a member of the team has been put in a dire situation.  If you remember a few years back, Foreman almost died and he tried to take Cameron (Jennifer Morrison) with him. It is heartbreaking to watch this team member suffer because their pain is portrayed so beautifully.  The cast does a phenomenal job in this difficult episode that closes with a long overdue sentiment.  I don’t want to give anything else away.  I’ve always been a fan of House M. D., and this is the not to miss episode of the season.
