SONS OF ANARCHY FX PRESS RELEASE: Famed author Stephen King will make a guest starring appearance in Tuesday night’s episode of SONS OF ANARCHY as “Bachman,” an associate of Tig's (Kim Coates) who is highly skilled in an unusual profession and called upon to help Gemma (Katey Sagal) and Tara (Maggie Siff) out of a bind. The logline is as follows: Episode 3 – “Caregiver” (Airs September 21, 10:00 PM ET/PT) – The club exploits its porn connections to entertain Henry Lin’s clients, which doesn’t sit well with one member. Written By Chris Collins & Regina Corrado. Directed by Billy Gierhart. SONS OF ANARCHY bowed its third season, ranking as the most-watched scripted series telecast in basic cable this year in P18-49 (2,814). The second week’s episode retained a solid 84% of its premiere in P18-49 (2,370 vs. 2,814), stronger than last year’s week 1-2 retention (81%). Among W18-34, SOA posted its most-watched telecast in its history. “Caregiver” SONS OF ANARCHY Season 3 Episode Review, Airing 9/21/2010
SONS OF ANARCHY welcomes a very special guest star, Stephen King who plays “Bachman” a very interesting character that offers a very special service and is open to many forms of payment. I have to say that I like his taste in music. Tig (Kim Coates), Gemma (Katey Sagal) and Tara (Maggie Siff) could have their own show after you see this episode. I don’t know what you would call it but man those three really know how to stir things up. Luckily, Tara is a doctor so that will come in handy especially with Tig around. Did you guys and gals enjoy Tig’s performance last week? Are you keeping track of the number of cast member’s behinds we have seen? You crazy folks are always writing to me asking me if we are going to see more Jax (Charlie Hunnam) nudity. Well, I don’t know talk to Kurt Sutter, the man with all the plans, about that. I will put in a formal request but I can only do so much!
In Belfast, Maureen Ashby (Paula Malcomson) questions what has been done and what needs to be concerning the kidnapping of Abel and her cousin. Back in the states, Clay (Ron Perlman) talks weapons and trade for sexy parties with “family rates”. Opie (Ryan Hurst) has not fully come to terms with what Lyla (Winter Ave Zoli) does for a living. Opie is one of my favorite characters because he is so sweet and you can’t help but feel for him. He has such sad eyes. Jax and Opie also have a discussion about Jax’s dad’s manuscript.
Jacob Hale Jr. (Jeff Kober) is really starting to throw his weight around and he is pushing whatever buttons he can to hurt the club. Jax and Clay share a special “father and son” moment and at least Clay has an incredible sense of humor when things don’t go as planned.
Make sure you tune into SONS OF ANARCHY tomorrow night. Not only is this show incredible but Stephen King is guest starring and his role is not to be missed. I’m so glad I can finally let you in on his appearance. I was excited when I saw him in the episode and when has this show ever let you down?
