SONS OF ANARCHY FX OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE: FX's original series, Sons of Anarchy, is an adrenalized drama with darkly comedic undertones that explores a notorious outlaw motorcycle club's (MC) desire to protect its livelihood while ensuring that their simple, sheltered town of Charming, California remains exactly that, Charming. The MC must confront threats from drug dealers, corporate developers, and overzealous law officers. Behind the MC's familial lifestyle and legally thriving automotive shop is a ruthless and illegally thriving arms business. The seduction of money, power, and blood. Jackson ‘Jax' Teller (Charlie Hunnam) is the MC's vice-president who is tested by his growing apprehension for its lawlessness, Gemma Teller Morrow (Katey Sagal) is Jax's force-of-nature mother, and Clarence ‘Clay' Morrow (Ron Perlman) is Jax's stepfather and MC president. The triangle of Mother, Son, and Stepfather will ultimately reveal the dark secrets in this family's past and the lengths they will go to protect their sins. This season begins with SAMCRO feeling powerless over Abel's kidnapping, especially Jax, whose grief sends him into deeper turmoil over his future with the club. The search for Abel sends our guys to Ireland, where Jax faces not only the Irish Republican Army, but an untold personal history as well. Meanwhile, still on the lam, Gemma is hit with some unexpected news and risks her freedom to deal with it.

“OILED” SONS OF ANARCHY Season 3 Episode Review, Airing 9/14/2010

SONS OF ANARCHY returned with one hell of a season three premiere and it only gets better as the season progresses. No one knows how to write a better ending to an episode than Kurt Sutter. He is responsible for our weekly torment of having to wait to see what is going on with Jax (Charlie Hunnam), Gemma (Katey Sagal), Clay (Ron Perlman) and the rest of the club. The premiere forced us to say goodbye to Deputy Chief David Hale (Taylor Sheridan) and officially lay Kip “Half Sak” Epps (Johnny Lewis) to rest. Unfortunately, Agent June Stahl (Ally Walker) is still around and man I can’t wait to see how her story ends because there is no way she is getting away without paying the ultimate price for all of the baloney that she has pulled. I really hope that Gemma is able to get at least one punch in before she “goes away”.

Cameron Hayes (Jamie McShane) gets caught up in confession and has to deal with the consequences of kidnapping Abel. Cameron has opened a door that can’t be closed and Jax vows to do everything and more to get his son back. John Teller was a friend to the Irish so Cameron’s actions are not taken lightly. Chief Wayne Unser (Dayton Callie) lends his support to Jax and the Sons. Jax is still trying to make sure that Tara (Maggie Siff) knows what she is getting involved in warns her that what has went down already is just the “tip of the iceberg”.
I’m glad I am not the only one that loves Chucky. Chucky (Michael Ornstein) is the gift that keeps on giving and our favorite former compulsive masturbation disorder sufferer. I don’t know what it is but I have a soft spot for Chucky. The boys pay him a visit and like always Chucky makes our day brighter.
Gemma is discovering things about those close to her while staying at her dad’s house with Tig. This is such a great episode for Tig fans. Tig (Kim Coates) really shines and puts his best foot forward in this episode. It is so nice to know that Tig is so considerate and humane to others. Tig also lets us in on his fears but he is not afraid to commit a fashion faux pas. It turns out to be a real blast!

The Sons of Anarchy work on getting to the bottom of who was responsible for the funeral drive-by and they get creative with their interrogation techniques, to say the least. That is what I love about this show, they always keep you guessing. Make sure you tune in Tuesday night at 10 PM EST only on FX to see how it all goes down.
