The MC must confront threats from drug dealers, corporate developers, and overzealous law officers. Behind the MC's familial lifestyle and legally thriving automotive shop is a ruthless and illegally thriving arms business. The seduction of money, power, and blood. Jackson ‘Jax' Teller (Charlie Hunnam) is the MC's vice-president who is tested by his growing apprehension for its lawlessness, Gemma Teller Morrow (Katey Sagal) is Jax's force-of-nature mother, and Clarence ‘Clay' Morrow (Ron Perlman) is Jax's stepfather and MC president. The triangle of Mother, Son, and Stepfather will ultimately reveal the dark secrets in this family's past and the lengths they will go to protect their sins. This season begins with SAMCRO feeling powerless over Abel's kidnapping, especially Jax, whose grief sends him into deeper turmoil over his future with the club. Meanwhile, still on the lam, Gemma is hit with some unexpected news and risks her freedom to deal with it.

“TURNING AND TURNING” SONS OF ANARCHY Season 3 Episode Review, Airing 10/5/2010

SONS OF ANARCHY is going to punch you in the face with a twist that you didn’t see coming in tonight’s episode entitled, “Turning and Turning”. Last week Gemma (Katey Sagal) collapsed in the car park when she went home to see her grandson and she couldn’t find him. She then received a call from Maureen Ashby (Paula Malcomson) telling her that Abel was in Belfast. Gemma has had so much to deal with that this event just pushed her over the edge.

Gemma wakes up in the hospital with an extra attachment and after speaking with Clay (Ron Perlman) we discover that “fashion before health” is Gemma’s motto. Jax (Charlie Hunnam) and Tara (Maggie Siff) check in with Gemma and Gemma demands the truth from them about what happened with Abel. Chief Wayne (Dayton Callie) wishes Gemma the best but he is in a difficult situation that involves boundaries and what is best for Charming. Gemma is such a popular person that even Agent Stahl (Ally Walker) checks in on her and “the family that hates together”. Stahl is just such a sweet and considerate individual. Don’t you agree? Gemma’s keen skills come into play when she is having a discussion with Tara. Gemma gets another call that helps set things in motion.

Shady purchases are being made downtown by a “guy in a suit” and the MC has taken note of it. Chucky (Michael Ornstein) or Mr. “I accept that”, is always ready to get a couple of fingers dirty for the MC. He joins up with Tig (Kim Coates) for a little fact finding mission. How do you think that will that end?

Stahl is still pushing Gemma over what is going to go down and two “give up” options are offered. What choice do you think will be made? What is Stahl’s end game? Jax pays a friend a visit to talk business. Don’t miss this ending that I know you didn’t see coming! “Turning and Turning” was written by Dave Erickson and Marco Ramirez and was directed by Gwyneth Horder-Payton. Watch SONS OF ANARCHY on Tuesday nights at 10 PM EST on FX!
