DROPKICK MURPHYS secured a few spots on the AEROSMITH tour and it was a Boston, MA united show. They are not my typical go to band but they were rather enjoyable with their unique instrumental assemblage. How often do you go to a rock show and see accordion, banjo and bagpipe players accompanied by Celtic dancers? Pretty cool if you ask me! I can see why people go crazy for the DROPKICK MURPHYS.
AEROSMITH is the band that makes me proud to be from New England. They are the official rock legends of the area. They started before I was born and I’m sure they will outlive me. STEVEN TYLER has magical DNA that is full of awe inspiring talent and tantalizing good looks. You’ve heard of “The face that launched a thousand ships,” well STEVEN TYLER is the face that launched a thousand scarves. He knows exactly how to work his voice, body and harmonica to get the appropriate response out of the audience. The members of AEROSMITH come together so precisely and dictate exactly what a rock band should be. Their music is all rock infused with just the right amount of blues and a special sound that can only be defined as AEROSMITH. Their live show was superb with just the right amount of lighting and stage elements such as moving top panels that went up and down during LOVE IN AN ELEVATOR. BRAD WHITFORD was missed but the other members performed even harder for him. I think it is funny that the tour is sponsored by GUITAR HERO since JOE PERRY is the reason why GUITAR HERO was invented because honestly, who the hell does not want to be JOE PERRY? That guy is one of the coolest and best dressed guitar players out there. His guitar sound live is stupendous. GO AND SEE AEROSMITH LIVE!!!
