The best show in Rhode Island this month came to us courtesy of THE ALL-AMERICAN REJECTS, SHINY TOY GUNS, ACE ENDERS and VEDERA.  SHINY TOY GUNS went on right before THE ALL-AMERICAN REJECTS and performed a whole set of dance hits with an intriguing stage show.  They had some pretty nifty lights and they traded instruments throughout the show.  SHINY TOY GUNS were the most impressive conglomerate of rock and dance music I have seen in a long time.

THE ALL-AMERICAN REJECTS brought their magical mojo  to Providence  and provided us with a long overdue gratifying rock n’ roll show.  TYSON RITTER was as refreshing as an Orange Julius with his flailing dance moves and reverse floor humping.  He really knew how to work his crowd which was 90% girls, 5% men and 5% in between.   He even gave into the family of “vagabonds” whose demands were for picks and sticks to be put in their bucket.  TYSON hit every note perfectly and I have to say that if you think he sounds great on the album then get ready for a tasty treat because he is even more sensational live.  They performed a full set that consisted of some of my favorites off their new album, WHEN THE WORLD COMES DOWN, such as MONA LISA, DAMN GIRL and of course they encored with GIVES YOU HELL.   Their logo in lights was a nice touch to the stage setup and damn and hell were certainly the go to words of the night.  THE ALL-AMERICAN REJECTS put on one hell of a show and I can’t wait to see them again the only complaint I had was with TYSON’s beard, apparently he didn’t get the memo!  Seriously, go and see THE ALL-AMERICAN REJECTS live, buy a cd and shirt.  Keep rock music alive!
