THE BRAVERY’S sophomore effort, THE SUN AND THE MOON, proves to be a good reflection of how a band can grow.  They brought in legendary producer, BRENDAN O’BRIEN, whom you may have heard of through his work with PEARL JAM, STONE TEMPLE PILOTS, PAPA ROACH, KORN and JACKYL, (FYI I love JACKYL), just to name a few.  The album as a whole touches upon several different genres and offers up a taste of vintage mod music done right.  Their sound is flavored with a bit of THE BEATLES, a pinch of ELVIS COSTELLO, a splash of THE CURE and a snap of BILLY JOEL.   My favorite song is SPLIT ME WIDE OPEN, the hard hitting drums are amazing!  My least favorite song is ANGELINA, I don’t know what it is but I always feel the need to skip to the next track, of course that could be because my favorite song follows it.

Looking at the titles of the songs you would assume that this is going to be a dreary album but on the contrary, listeners will be cosmically delighted with the emanating sounds.  The songs that are already super hits are BELIEVE and TIME WON’T LET ME GO.  You can bet that there are more hits to follow from this artistic endeavor.  You can even change the CD cover from yellow to blue.  How cool is that?  From start to finish, THE SUN AND THE MOON delivers.
