I witnessed greatness in what I have to say was the best show of my life at the TD BANKNORTH GARDEN in BOSTON, MA.  Seventeen years was far too long to wait to see the one and only GEORGE MICHAEL.  The man is magical and I didn’t think that he could ever surpass his recordings live and he did.  How can a mere mortal possess such vocal power and purity?  He delighted us with his wit, thanking us for standing by him since, “It hasn’t always been easy to be a George Michael fan” as he put it.  Not true!  Any worthy GEORGE MICHAEL fan would admit it proudly and stand by him through all the set-ups and closet capers that are bestowed upon him.  He performed all his greatest hits like FAITH, FATHER FIGURE, FASTLOVE, HARD DAY, TOO FUNKY, CARELESS WHISPER and encored with my favorite FREEDOM!  George and his crew of backup singers performed for hours without tiring.  He did the FAITH ass shake throughout the whole set and boy can he dance.  He even came out gyrating with a cop uniform on for OUTSIDE.  If you can only love George for one thing love him for his sense of humor.  GEORGE MICHAEL you are AMAZING and please don’t make your USA fans wait another seventeen years to see you again.
