Metallica returns to its original roots with their new album Death Magnetic. Produced by Rick Rubin, the band embarks on a journey into their glorious past and draws influence from it. The attack and the approach remind me of Metallica before the Black album. After a decade Metallica finally released an album worth talking about. Fans should enjoy the reemergence of the progressive Thrash Metal that Metallica helped make famous.
