PARAMORE is NO DOUBT’s direct support for their 2009 SUMMER TOUR. The two bands complimented each other perfectly. I have to say that they were pretty good live. HAYLEY WILLIAMS was a decent front woman and did her part but the real magic resided in the bass and guitar players and their out of nowhere flip over each other. They were pretty calm at the start of the show and then hit us with that move and let me tell you that was worth the price of admission right there. I have seen a ton of shows and have never witnessed that move. Way to go guys! I am sure all of the TWILIGHT peeps were ecstatic.
NO DOUBT was exactly what I expected and more. I am glad they are back and stronger than ever. GWEN STEFANI is such a remarkable performer with her stunning good looks and stage persona. Her energy and partnership with her band mates is just unmatched. How she manages to keep up her vocals and move around that much leads me to believe that she is super human. Other artists that refuse to sing live when they dance should take note and catch a NO DOUBT show. There is no lip synching only the force of the very bold and seasoned GWEN STEFANI. They performed a bit of something for everyone. I don’t know how anyone could walk away from a NO DOUBT show and not be an even bigger fan. They sell you on the first note and keep you psyched the entire time. ADRIAN YOUNG loves tutus and stripes as much as I do. I love when you see a band that looks like a band. Everyone was uniquely uniformed. I think this will be the summer tour to beat this year. A five star rating is in order for NO DOUBT! Check them out on tour all summer.
